Two
thousand feet didn’t sound like much. Not even half a mile. Dodger
Abercrombe could run four times around Sacramento Junior High’s track
without even breaking a sweat. And that has to be more than two thousand
feet. But this day he didn’t have to run it. He only had to walk it.
Actually, he only had to walk a couple of steps of it — from two
thousand feet up!
