Displaced
Displaced is the first story in the Dodging
Time series. Dodger Abercrombe and his two best friends,
Neffy and Dingus, find a hidden Viarbox game. At least they think
it's a Viarbox game. It turns out to be a real time travel program,
— a discovery they make a little too late. Now
they've displaced three real live colonial people from 1794 to the year
1994. When the replacement
sequence fails, the three friends have no choice but to
send themselves back in time to fix the mess that they caused. Back to
1994 — where the future meets the past in our
present. They treat the whole expedition like a Viarbox game, using the
skills and cunning they learned from their favorite game system.
